Having had 130 cars participating last year, the “Vintage Car Day” attracted a large crowd of enthusiasts who were able to admire fascinating cars in a particular historic and natural setting. This summer, this unique marriage between steam locomotives and vintage cars could only be repeated. The Fond-de-Gras site will welcome an outstanding collection of vintage cars from before 1975, pampered by collectors from all over the Greater Region.
Come and dance with us to all the great songs of the last century ! The “Guingette de la Guinche” and its beautiful caravan offer a repertoire of swing, waltz and tango that’s sure to please. They will be setting up its dance floor from 3pm to 6pm.
As for the visitors, we couldn’t imagine a more delightful way than to join the Fond-de-Gras with the Train 1900, from its departure platform in Pétange (rue de Niederkorn, free parking). The scheduled departures are at 10.30 am, 11.50 am, 13.15 pm, 14.15 pm, 15.15 pm, 16.15 pm, 17.15 pm

The mining train “Minièresbunn”, which leads you through an impressive journey in the heart of the mine, will count four departures: at 11.05 am, 15.00 pm, 16.00 pm and 17.00 pm.
Inside the charming train station from Fond-de-Gras, grilled meats, fries, homemade cakes and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
For historical vehicle owners: Only cars with a vehicle registration document issued before 1975 will be allowed to drive onto the site. For each displayed vehicle you are entitled to a ticket for the Train 1900, a drink and a light meal.
This Sunday, July 28, due to weather conditions, the visitor parking at Fond-de-Gras is inaccessible. Only vehicles from before 1975 can access Fond-de-Gras.
