The 1900 Train has around 50 cars, both for freight and passengers. About fifteen of these cars are currently in service during the season, transporting passengers, goods, or offering various activities at the station. After World War II, this car, built in 1921 and abandoned by the Deutsche Reichsbahn in Luxembourg, was requisitioned by the Luxembourg State and made available to the CFL (Luxembourg Railways). The car was revised and adapted for its new use several times, including the removal of its doors and dome, as well as the reinforcement of its structure. In the 1970s, the car was taken over by the AMTF Train 1900 and restored several times, notably with the installation of a diesel generator. From 2020 onwards, it underwent a complete restoration to continue being used.

This Gs 07 “Oppeln” type covered goods wagon is a two-axle freight car, built in 1941 for the Deutsche Reichsbahn. With its robust wooden structure, riveted steel chassis, and sliding side doors, it was widely used for transporting goods. Since 1973, this historic wagon has been part of the AMTF Train 1900, where it serves as a museum exhibit and is included in museum activities. The wagon is approximately 9 meters long and has a loading capacity of about 45 cubic meters.

This two-axle car, built in 1928 at the Dessauer Waggonfabrik AG in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany), initially operated on the Deutsche Reichsbahn network before being integrated into a CFL lifting train. This van is one of 917 units built between 1923 and 1931 and can carry up to 7 tons of luggage. Since the year 2000, the wagon has been on the tracks of the AMTF Train 1900 and was meticulously restored by the “ProActif” workshops in 2008.

This carriage, built in 1914 at the Uerdingen factory (near Krefeld, Germany), initially operated for the “Société anonyme luxembourgeoise des chemins de fer et minières Prince-Henri,” where it was numbered PH 941. After the creation of the CFL in 1946, the wagon was taken over and registered under the number “CFL D3 7082,” and later as “CFL 9116 VAwf” until it was integrated into the AMTF Train 1900 in 1998. The baggage van features a postal compartment and a small staff compartment, equipped with a coal stove.
