The artist Jacques Schneider, renowned for his works on the public forces and the grand-ducal family, has been working for 15 years on the memory of Luxembourg, among others, its industrial past. For this exhibition, he has selected 5 works from his vast project “Steel Industry”, which was published in 2022 and presents 320 works.
In an ecological spirit, we have chosen to print the works locally on PVC-free canvas.
These will then be transformed by the DONO workshop (Coopérations entreprises socio-culturelles) in Wiltz to become objects that can be used in everyday life.
During the opening, two seamstresses will be present to demonstrate their skills and share the creative process with you.
Exhibition open on Sundays and Luxembourg public holidays from 1 May to 1 October (except 23 June), from 14:00 – 18:00.
