Our guide will take you on an exciting and informative journey back to the days of iron ore mining at Fond-de-Gras.
The tour covers all aspects of the history of Fond-de-Gras: the life of the miners and their work in the mine, the importance of the industrialists and the public authorities, and the transportation of iron ore to the processing plants. You’ll also discover the various historic buildings (the grocery shop, the power station and the railway station).
