ONE POSTER, ONE SEASON, ONE ARTIST – LISA GOEBEL

One poster, one season, one artist

It all started in 2023 with the creation of a poster to promote the Minett Park season. Its success gave us the idea of turning it into an annual tradition: each year, a new artist reinterprets Minett Park in their own way, with only two elements being mandatory: a locomotive and the slogan “Experience an adventure out of time.”

01/09/2026 – Lisa Goebel

For the 2026 season poster, illustrator Lisa Goebel takes us into a colourful, slightly fantastical world where industrial heritage and nature meet.

Unlike the posters from previous years, which mainly focused on Fond-de-Gras, this composition highlights another side of Minett Park: Lasauvage, with its workers’ houses, as well as the landscapes of the former Giele Botter open-cast mine, which has now become a nature reserve. In the foreground, the locomotive naturally recalls the importance of the railway at Minett Park.

Small characters, characteristic of Lisa Goebel’s artistic universe, are scattered throughout the landscape: on board the train, in the mine carts, on the buildings and even at the top of the terraces of the open-cast mine. They bring movement and humour to the composition. The poster thus becomes a landscape to explore, filled with little details to discover.

About the artist

Lisa Goebel is a designer and illustrator from Saarbrücken. Alongside frame-by-frame animation and cover art, her illustration work focuses on various printing techniques, particularly risography and screen printing.

The intersection between analogue and digital creation is an essential aspect of her artistic approach. Her works mainly depict surreal worlds that deliberately leave room for interpretation and invite everyone to let their imagination run free.

Surreal scenes dominate her work, leaving viewers plenty of room to engage their own imagination.
