Become a miner or steelworker on Minett tour’s Kids Day trip back in time. On October 19th 2024, “Minett Treasures” invites children and their families to a memorable day full of adventure and discovery at the Ellergronn Nature and Forest Centre.
Enriching workshops and exciting activities will be on the programme for children, where they can get creative in craft workshops, experiment with metals and take on the role of a miner. At each workshop, children can collect a stamp and fill in their passport, before collecting a great reward at the end. And, of course, at the end, they can collect their own miner’s mark and a certificate.
Adults will have the chance to have fun at various activities as well, such as the Drummsee workshop, where they can get hands-on with a saw, or the ‘Gëlle Flûte’ draught workshop, where they learn how to pour the perfect beer.
To keep your strength up, delicious food and refreshing drinks will be on offer from trendy food trucks and drinks stands.
