La Sauvagerie – this is stand-up comedy in the former church of Zowaasch, where history and nature meet to create a wild and poetic atmosphere. This unique blend offers both artists and the audience an extraordinary setting.
For this second edition of La Sauvagerie, we invited Shayan Mehr from the collective Luxembourg Comedy to organize a comedy evening with five comedians – in Luxembourgish, please.
Shayan Mehrafza is an actor, host, and comedian in the relatively young Luxembourgish stand-up comedy scene. During the weekly open mic nights in the Grund, which are held in English, Shayan is always among the top 12. Although it’s worth noting that there are usually no more than 12 comedians performing on those nights. After doing comedy in English and French, he feels it’s time to take it to Luxembourgish.
