The former open-cast mines of the Minett are now part of the core areas of the Minett Biosphere Reserve, which focuses on the cohabitation of man and nature. During a guided walk in the autumn colours we discover how man has shaped the landscape and the geological substratum. Explanations by a geoscientist and readings from the travel book “Rocklines” as well as texts by Nico Helminger and Henry David Thoreau will round off this exploration of the “Giele Botter”.
