Polenta: a kind of yellow dough made from corn flour, water, a little bit of salt and a lot of patience. Back then it was the bread of the poor in northern Italy. During the period of Italian immigration, it became a suspicious and laughable food in the eyes of others.
Nowadays, it is served even in the fanciest restaurants. Times change, but the memory remains: that of a grandmother from the mountains and a daily know-how, transformed into an art of living. Cooked and told at the same time, POLENTONE! is a nourishing performance for everyone.
Interested spectators can directly participate in the traditional cooking of polenta, which will be shared (and eaten!) with every participant at the end of the performance.
